Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 12, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for purchases of Tweakrix software products and subscriptions (the “Service”). This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use and End-User License Agreement.

By purchasing, subscribing to, downloading, or using paid Tweakrix software features, you agree to this Refund Policy in addition to the applicable checkout terms presented at the time of purchase.

1. General Refund Principles

Refund eligibility depends on the product purchased, the time elapsed since the original purchase, the payment flow used, and whether the issue can be resolved through troubleshooting or support.

In general, a refund may be considered if:

  • the request is submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • the product does not function substantially as described
  • the issue is reproducible or reasonably verifiable
  • our support team, or the applicable payment provider where relevant, is unable to resolve the issue

Refunds are not granted automatically simply because the product was downloaded, installed, or not used as expected in a particular environment.

2. Support First

Before requesting a refund, you should contact support first. Many technical issues can be resolved through troubleshooting, compatibility checks, installation guidance, or clarification of how the product works.

We may request reasonable information to evaluate a refund request, such as:

  • a description of the issue
  • screenshots
  • product version details
  • order reference information
  • diagnostic logs, if relevant

Any logs or technical details provided for refund review are used only for support, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and refund evaluation purposes.

3. 30-Day Money-Back Window

Where Tweakrix offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, refund requests should generally be submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

The 30-day period applies to the original order unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

After the first 30 days, refunds are generally not available unless:

  • required by applicable law, or
  • specifically required by the payment provider’s rules, checkout terms, or a separate promotional commitment presented at purchase

4. When a Refund May Be Refused

A refund request may be refused where permitted by law, including for example if:

  • the issue cannot be reproduced or reasonably verified
  • the problem results from unsupported hardware, software conflicts, operating system restrictions, or third-party interference
  • the issue was caused by misuse, repeated failed attempts after guidance, or use contrary to the product instructions
  • the request is made outside the applicable refund window
  • the purchase was previously refunded
  • the request relates to a product purchased through a third-party marketplace, reseller, or external platform that applies its own refund rules

5. One Refund Per Purchase

To prevent abuse:

  • each eligible purchase is generally refundable only once
  • if a refund has already been issued for a specific order or license, a later purchase of the same product may not qualify for another refund for the same issue
  • if a refund is approved, the related license, subscription, or paid access may be terminated or disabled

6. Bundles and Combined Orders

If multiple items are sold as part of a single bundled order, the entire order may need to be refunded as a whole. Partial refunds for individual bundle components may not be available.

7. Digital Content and Immediate Access

If you request immediate access to digital content, software downloads, activation, or subscription features, you acknowledge that delivery may begin immediately after purchase.

Where permitted by applicable law, this may affect or limit any statutory withdrawal right that would otherwise apply to digital content once performance has begun.

This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

8. Subscription Refunds and Cancellation

Canceling a subscription and receiving a refund are not the same thing.

Cancellation

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund amounts already charged.

Refunds

If a refund is approved for an active subscription:

  • the subscription may be canceled automatically
  • access to paid features may end immediately or shortly after refund processing
  • future renewals may be stopped by us or by the applicable payment provider

Unless required by law or checkout terms, refunds are generally assessed with reference to the original purchase period and not each later renewal cycle.

9. Purchases Through Third Parties

Refunds under this Refund Policy apply only to purchases made through our direct website checkout or another purchase flow that expressly points to this Refund Policy.

If you purchased through:

  • a third-party marketplace
  • a reseller
  • an affiliate or partner checkout
  • another external billing environment

you must follow that third party’s refund policy and procedures unless the purchase flow expressly states otherwise.

10. Payment Providers / Merchant of Record

Payments may be processed by one or more third-party payment providers, some of which may act as a Merchant of Record depending on product, region, payment method, or checkout flow.

The provider shown during checkout may:

  • process the payment
  • collect billing details
  • issue receipts or invoices
  • manage subscription renewals
  • process chargebacks or refunds according to its own procedures

In some cases, you may be required to submit your refund request directly through the payment provider portal, billing email, or purchase confirmation flow.

11. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact:

support@tweakrix.com

Please include, where available:

  • your full name
  • the email address used during purchase
  • your order or reference number
  • the product or plan name
  • a short description of the issue
  • screenshots or supporting material, if relevant

If logs are requested, please provide only the logs necessary for troubleshooting. We do not intentionally request full payment card information for refund processing.

12. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, the refund is typically issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, subject to the procedures of the applicable payment provider.

Processing time depends on:

  • the payment provider
  • the payment method
  • your bank or card issuer
  • currency conversion or cross-border processing rules

We do not control the time required by banks, card networks, or payment processors to complete the final return of funds.

13. Effect of Refund

Once a refund is issued:

  • your paid license or subscription access may be canceled
  • your right to use refunded paid features ends
  • you must stop using the refunded digital content to the extent applicable
  • we may deny future refund requests related to the same purchase or repeated equivalent claims
